Kremlin claims China has the “right” to conduct drills near Taiwan

The Kremlin supported China’s three-day maneuvers in the vicinity of Taiwan on Monday, claiming that Beijing has a “sovereign right” to retaliate against what Moscow referred to as “provocative measures.”

The Chinese People’s Republic has been the target of several provocative acts, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov. According to rigorous adherence to international law, China has the sovereign right to respond to these provocative activities with military maneuvers.
