Bangladesh is struck by 5.2 earthquake

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 rocked Bangladesh on Friday morning.

The earthquake occurred 35 km (21.75 miles) beneath the surface. Locals who saw property damage in Dhaka were also told by the authorities monitoring the earthquake.

Even though the EMSC stated that it was “Automatic crowdsourced detection, not seismically verified yet,” I will continue to research the earthquake and the damage it did.
