Bangladesh records the most dengue deaths 19

Bangladesh has recorded 19 deaths from dengue infection in the last 24 hours.

As of now, this is the highest number of deaths from mosquito-borne disease in the country.

During this time, some 1,792 people were infected and hospitalised.

From January 1 to July 19 this year, some 146 people have died and 25,792 people infected.

According to the latest data of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), some 922 people are residents of Dhaka and 870 people outside hospitalised with dengue infection from 8:00 am Tuesday to 8:00 am Wednesday.

Of the infected, some 1,790 people have been discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours. Some 978 are residents of Dhaka and 812 outside.

Among the deceased in the last 24 hours, some 17 people are from Dhaka and two people from outside.
